Procurement Business Partner
Contract Role – 5 month fixed term contract
ISS is now recruiting for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to assist with a large contract mobilisation over the next 5 months.
As the Procurement Business Partner, you will be responsible for improved contractual compliance during the mobilisation period, ensuring all relevant nominated suppliers meet minimum assurance requirements and that contractual terms are in place including KPIs and SPIs, reporting metrics, and process governance. You will work across workstreams to ensure technical and operational contractual obligations are met, and will be responsible for successful negotiation and implementation of supplier contracts, working closely with ISS SC&P and the legal function as necessary.
You will be responsible for:
1. Implementing robust contracting to ensure full and compliant contracts are in place for identified suppliers, working closely with the mobilisation and Supply Chain & Procurement teams.
2. Working closely with the ISS Technical team to ensure supplier delivery aligns with technical competence and client expectations.
3. Leading the successful mobilisation of new suppliers into the account, ensuring all compliance, assurance requirements, and necessary flowdowns are met, and the solution meets the Client’s requirements.
4. Acting as the link between the mobilisation team, Procurement, and wider stakeholder groups to ensure strategies and objectives remain aligned and on track.
5. Ensuring ISS continues to meet all supplier assurance requirements, including contractual governance.
6. Demonstrating ability to work at pace and manage an efficient workload.
7. Driving Contract Management & Risk Mitigation – minimising ISS and client operational, contractual, and financial exposure by ensuring and securing complete and favourable contractual terms and conditions for all contracted agreements.
8. Driving buying efficiency and compliance, while leveraging spend through the most appropriate buying channel/supplier to achieve a minimum of 80% compliance to the PSL.
Key Requirements:
1. Extensive and proven experience in Procurement.
2. Strong familiarity with contracts and working within a template.
3. Comfortable with negotiations and collaboration.
4. Professional certification CIPS and/or MBA are highly desirable.
5. Strong business acumen, with demonstrable contracting experience to achieve best-in-class results.
6. Exceptional communicator with the ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders at multiple levels within the company using a variety of formats, including presentations, emails, leading meetings, and face-to-face interactions.
7. Strong change management capability with demonstrable results.
