We're looking for people who share our values (compassion, accountability and optimism) to help us provide high quality care to the patients, carers, families and local communities we serve. We specialise in providing NHS mental health and learning disability services.
Job overview
We are hoping to appoint a Senior Practitioner Psychologist or Senior CBT Therapist to our level two in-patient adult mental health service in Horsham. The post is for three days a week and may also suit a newly qualified or soon-to-be qualified practitioner psychologist on a preceptorship basis.
You will be working with a highly resourced MDT including a Principal Psychologist providing a range of direct and indirect evidence-based approaches to our service users.
Main duties of the job
You will be working alongside a Principal Practitioner Psychologist in providing a range of interventions including schema therapy, CBT, EMDR and Behavioural and Systemic Family interventions.
The post holder will work as part of a MDT supporting service users through assessment, formulation and delivering long-term evidence-based interventions.
Working for our organisation
The successful candidate will join a friendly, highly-skilled and enthusiastic community of psychologists in the Forensic subdivision of the Specialist Services Division. 78 Crawley Road, whilst not a forensic service, sits under the forensic leadership structures.
The service encourages flexible working and provides CPD opportunities including training in the HCR-20, EMDR, schema therapy and behavioural family therapy.
