Job overview
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced audio typist with medical terminology to join our dedicated team in the Clinical Transcription Suite.
The Clinical Transcription Suite provides typing support to the clinical specialties. You will be working with a team of professionals who are truly some of the best in their field with expertise in a wide range of medical terminologies and who will provide you with support and training.
Joining our team will be rewarding, challenging and fun. The experience gained as a successful Clinical Transcription Typist can lead to opportunities for further career development within clinical administration. Full and part time hours are available.
Hours per week: 37.5
Main duties of the job
1. To be responsible for the audio typing and transcription of all clinical correspondence across all clinical specialties. The post-holder will be expected to ensure all clinical correspondence is typed and processed within specified timescales.
2. The post-holder will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to the job, providing typing support for the medical secretaries.
3. The post-holder will need fast and accurate audio typing skills and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.

* 5 GCSE's including Maths and English Language Grade C and above
* Typing qualifications to RSA II standard. (Royal Society of Arts)
* Computer literate to ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) standard or equivalent.

* RSA III typing qualification (Royal Society of Arts)
