They are currently looking to recruit an Infrastructure/Civil Engineer to join their expanding Infrastructure Engineering team in Bristol.

They seek a talented individual who can deliver a high-quality service, has the ability to think outside the box, and enjoys a collaborative approach to developing pragmatic and innovative design solutions to the various technical challenges land development can present.
They are looking for a candidate that has a good understanding of Civil Engineering best practices and standards, and the technical design skills to produce high-quality work on a range of projects. The individual will support schemes through design drawings and calculations to accompany planning applications through to construction.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
1. BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or a degree qualification in a related subject plus 2+ years of relevant postgraduate experience.
2. Experience in highway engineering, drainage engineering, or general development infrastructure design.
3. A good understanding of relevant best practices and guidance. Experience in highway and drainage design using, for example, Manual for Streets, DMRB, CIRIA SuDS Manual, Sewerage Sector Guidance, and Local Authority design standards is desirable.
4. Numerate and software literate. Working knowledge of AutoCAD. Knowledge of 3D modelling software such as Civils3D or similar, and drainage modelling software such as MicroDrainage or similar would be desirable.
5. Ability to prepare drawings and calculations for both private and adoptable arrangements applying the relevant principles, design codes, and standards.
6. Consultancy/private sector development background with a bias towards private sector development work.
7. Effective organisational and communication skills with a collaborative approach and enjoyment of responsibility.
8. Ideally, a full driving licence and access to a car.
