An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian to join our dietetic team to work in acute, community or paediatric dietetics. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work well as part of the dietetic team.
The post is permanent, based in Carlisle or Whitehaven and you will be part of a dietetic department delivering a high quality service across North Cumbria.
Professional development is given a high priority and there are ongoing educational opportunities as well as practice supervision. The department trains student dietitians on P1, P2 and P3 placements from a number of universities across the North West and North West. IT and secretarial support is available.
Main duties of the job
Provide a comprehensive clinical and educational dietetic service within the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC). Contribute to the development of the Nutrition & Dietetic service as a member of the Dietetic team.
You will be part of a friendly, committed and supportive dietetic department of 20 dietitians and support staff across North Cumbria (acute, community & paediatrics) providing a quality service through evidence based practice.
