We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join our secondary school team in Leeds on a part-time basis. As a History Teacher, you will guide students through the fascinating events and figures that have shaped our world, encouraging critical thinking and historical understanding.
Start Date: ASAP
Days: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
Location: Leeds
Requirements:
* QTS/PGCE in History or a related subject.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching history.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned History lessons to secondary school students.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, share best practices, and contribute to a cohesive History curriculum.
