Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Teaching Assistant.
The successful candidate will:
* Mentor, support, and inspire learners by assisting with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, home tuition, outreach, and outdoor activities.
* Assist with the preparation of learning material and contribute to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management and emotional health assessment tools.
* Provide daily reports on learners’ progress and barriers to learning.
* Work collaboratively with members of SLT and Student Support & Intervention Mentor to support students and their parents.
* Interact with parents/caregivers on a regular basis.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
* At least two years’ minimum experience working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision.
* A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous.
