Job Title: Service Manager, Supported Living
As the Service Manager you have responsibility for managing several services and on-site teams and being responsible for ensuring that the operation operates effectively and ensuring delivery of the very best quality, person centred care.
Key Features of the Role:
1. Ensure the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our residents’ needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
2. Direct staff management and ensuring the smooth running of the care home.
3. Take on accountability for the home - ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements; striving to achieve the best possible care rating and other external recognition of quality.
4. Ensure the safeguarding of service users and delivering optimum levels of care and support.
5. Manage the financial effectiveness of the home - maintain the budget of the home and seek to identify opportunities to increase profitability and reduce cost.
6. Take on an active leadership role - you will need to be a visible leader in the home supporting the operation of a twenty four hour business.
7. Work with the operational support team to organise rota’s and ensure effective fulfilment of shifts.
