Job summary We are searching for a motivated individual who is passionate about changing maternity health outcomes for women and birthing people, their babies and the wider family to join our team of Maternity Tobacco Dependence Advisors. This exciting role will contribute to the delivery of the Maternity Smoking Cessation Long Term Plan and Saving Babies Lives objectives and provide high-quality, expert tobacco usage intervention treatment to women and birthing people. Main duties of the job To work within the Team as a Maternity Tobacco Dependency Advisor. To provide behavioural support and treatment in relation to Smoking During Pregnancy. To support the day to day running of the service to ensure safe, well organized, non judgemental and evidenced based care is offered routinely to all identified -pregnant smokers. Provide support in a range of settings as required for the delivery of smoking cessation service. Contribute to data collection processes as required Build rapport and act as a support mechanism for Maternity Staff with regards to Stop Smoking Support for women and birthing people.
