To work closely with the Decluttering for patient safety and/or SaSI-MEDs Senior Research Fellows in the Yorkshire and Humber PSRC, as part of the Quality & Safety Research Group, to deliver a nationally and internationally recognised programme of patient safety research. To help promote the Yorkshire and Humber PSRC and/or SaSI-MEDs through social media, conference presentations, attendance at regional and national events. To embed equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in all research activities. To be responsible for recruitment of staff and patients to projects within the themes of work. To undertake accurate collection, collation, and entry of all data. Ensure confidential management and storage of all data held electronically and on paper. To accurately maintain study databases. To carry out literature searches to identify best available evidence/previous research/gaps in knowledge. To assist with preparation of applications for required permissions for projects as per regulatory requirements, e.g., ethics, NHS research governance. To conduct analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. To liaise with healthcare staff across study sites, including NHS sites. To participate in internal and external meetings and events as and when required. To input ideas and determine own day-to-day operation within agreed parameters. To perform administrative duties in relation to the programme of research. To write/contribute to research reports and papers for publication. To provide regular updates on progress, potential obstacles or problems to the research team. To support Patient and Public Involvement and Staff Advisory Groups. To develop your research skills and undertake training as required by the post.
