Overview:
Our client, a leading organisation in the energy sector, is seeking an experienced Change Lead to spearhead a significant global programme. This is a role for a skilled professional with a strong track record in change management in Finance within large organisations. Key Accountabilities:
* Lead the change workstream for a specific global programme, ensuring successful planning, execution, and implementation.
* Identify, engage, and align stakeholders across various organisational levels to promote a collaborative approach to change.
* Collaborate with the project team to design and facilitate workshops that engage the business and encourage ownership of solutions.
* Maintain open feedback loops throughout the project, adapting business change readiness plans as necessary.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure effective solution delivery aligned with programme goals.
* Develop a tailored communication plan that integrates with existing communication strategies, providing stakeholders with a cohesive view of progress, changes, and milestones.
* Proactively identify and address barriers to programme success, employing problem-solving skills and escalation procedures to achieve desired outcomes.
* Monitor and evaluate workstream and programme performance, delivering regular updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
Key requirements:
* Proven experience in successfully delivering change projects/programmes with a significant impact on people and organisational processes.
* Strong ability to connect with and manage senior stakeholders effectively.
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex strategic ideas to diverse audiences.
* Expertise in designing, planning, and managing change initiatives to completion.
* Experience working with finance teams or a finance background is highly desirable, especially in budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Familiarity with implementing software solutions and managing change around financial processes is a plus.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess a robust change management background, specifically in challenging change environments within the finance sector. You will be comfortable working alongside finance leaders, including the CFO and finance stakeholders, and will be instrumental in driving change through two key workstreams related to budgeting processing tools.
