We’re working with a top-tier regional law firm that’s looking for a Compliance Manager to join their collaborative Cardiff office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid compliance background who’s ready to step into a broad, hands-on role. You’ll be supporting the Head of Best Practice & Risk in managing everything from professional indemnity claims to AML, policy reviews, and internal audits.
The Role?
* Overseeing professional indemnity claims and client complaint handling
* Investigating and managing compliance breaches (data and regulatory)
* Supporting AML and client onboarding reviews and policies
* Helping lead internal audits, risk reporting, and vetting activities
* Working with legal teams to manage queries around AML, conflicts, sanctions, and regulatory updates
* Keeping registers, reporting tools, and shared inboxes organised and up to date
* Collaborating cross-functionally across the business
About you?
* Experience in compliance, risk, or quality within the legal sector
* Strong understanding of AML regulations and a knack for auditing or investigations
* Confident communicator who’s comfortable managing sensitive matters
* Solid project management and attention to detail
* Someone who thrives working as part of a close-knit team, but can hold their own
