Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team at {company}. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for servicing, fault finding, repairing and improving on a wide range of production equipment.
This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package. You will work a double day shift rotating schedule, with opportunities for overtime and flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out Preventative Maintenance in accordance with schedules
* Resolve breakdowns and conduct thorough fault analysis
* Source and purchase spare parts as required
* Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks
* Test and inspect electrical installations
* Communicate effectively with operators, managers, engineers and contractors
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and support the development of good working practices
* Support supplier and subcontractor development, where applicable
* Maintain adherence to the Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Policies, and work according to the Quality Management System
Requirements:
* Apprenticeship training or relevant industry-recognized qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ's, BTEC, HNC, HND)
* Experience in a CNC manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of good maintenance and engineering practices
* Excellent electrical knowledge and mechatronics skills
* Good understanding of Preventative Maintenance principles and methodologies
* Able to work autonomously and use own initiative when required
* Flexible to work overtime and support a small team
Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
