The Role As Engineering Manager, you will oversee all aspects of engineering operations, driving design innovation, process improvements, and project delivery. Working closely with sales, production, and R&D teams, you will ensure the seamless development and manufacturing of advanced electronic components. This role requires a strategic mindset, hands-on leadership, and strong technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Manage and prioritize engineering projects, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation. Product Development: Collaborate with sales and R&D teams to create a forward-thinking product roadmap. Process Improvement: Define and refine assembly and testing procedures to optimize production. Cost Management: Oversee job costing, labor estimations, and equipment procurement. Technical Support: Work closely with customers, sales teams, and manufacturing to resolve technical challenges. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain engineering documentation in line with ISO and SC21 standards. Industry Engagement: Represent the company at trade shows, deliver technical presentations, and contribute to marketing materials. About You The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with a strong technical background within either electronic components ie.RF/Microwave, Cable Assemblies or within a electronic or mechanic manufacturing environment catering for the Aerospace/Defence or Automotive markets. Essential Skills & Experience: ✔ Proven experience in engineering management within a manufacturing environment ✔ Strong CAD expertise (ideally SolidWorks) ✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills ✔ Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments ✔ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Desirable: ✔ Background in RF/Microwave, cryogenic components, or cable assemblies ✔ Familiarity with value stream mapping and lean manufacturing principles Why Join?
