We’re hiring a Senior Compliance Manager to lead our Compliance team. You’ll provide expert regulatory advice and constructive challenge to support both great customer outcomes and commercially viable decisions. This is a leadership role where you’ll manage a team of specialist compliance professionals and operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You’ll ideally be:
1. An experienced compliance leader with extensive knowledge of FCA regulations and the broader compliance landscape
2. Familiar with ASA, CMA, Ofcom & Ofgem rules and how they relate to a digital financial services environment
3. Highly collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills and confidence interacting with senior leadership and regulators
4. Skilled in pragmatic, proportionate compliance advice—balancing customer outcomes with commercial goals
5. A strong stakeholder manager with the ability to influence, challenge and support strategic decision making
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Lead and develop a high-performing compliance team, accountable for the quality and consistency of advice they deliver
2. Provide expert, pragmatic compliance advice on business activities, projects, and strategic initiatives—ensuring customer and regulatory considerations are at the heart of decision-making
3. Provide subject matter input to regulatory change projects and support the implementation of any relevant changes.
4. Represent Compliance at internal forums and governance meetings, offering insight and challenge on regulatory matters.
5. Identify and communicate emerging regulatory developments and trends to key stakeholders across the business
6. Oversee and manage the compliance input on incidents helping determine if regulatory notification is needed and ensuring appropriate escalation.
7. Drive better insight into customer outcomes, supporting the business to meet and continuously evolve Consumer Duty standards and broader conduct expectations.
8. Produce high-quality reports and presentations for senior management to inform decision making and drive discussion and action.
9. Maintain effective processes and controls to manage regulatory risks.
