Farrow and Ball – Assistant Manager (Quality & process), Wimborne, Dorset (40 hours per week) We are currently looking for a detail orientated individual to join our Quality Control team in Wimborne, Dorset as an Assistant Manager. We are offering this position on a permanent. full-time basis, this position will be based on site. As the Assistant Manager you will be responsible to ensure that every product manufactured by Farrow & Ball conforms to the agreed specifications and is processed through manufacturing efficiently. What we expect from you as an Assistant Manager (Quality & process). Key Responsibilities: Identification and reporting of any safety, health, environmental and quality incidents and overseeing corrective actions Provide optimised efficient base and tinting recipes and control plans to the manufacturing department via the IFS system. Work closely with manufacturing teams to improve RFT performance and minimise product variance. To ensure that Quality Assurance checks are carried out in Wallpaper, and to deliver product and process improvements. To support the introduction of new colourways and patterns in the Wallpaper department. To oversee the testing of all paint products by Quality Control team, and to ensure timely and effective corrections where required. Analysis of key performance indicators results and identification of trends and areas of improvement To manage and provide routes for the use of rework materials from manufacturing and warehouse. Facilitate control through ERP system To work with R&TD Chemists in the Scale up process from lab to full production To provide feedback to R&TD group on product manufacturing issues for further development and investigation To support the management of colour across factory and ICT production The job holder must be prepared to work as part of a team and assist or carry out other duties during periods of high workload, sickness, holidays and emergencies. Key Attributes: Exceptional communication and attention to detail skills. Proven experience within a similar role Be able to work in a high paced environment. Ability to multitask. Be IT literate. Having technical knowledge of paint and wallpaper are desirable. This role will require regular lifting and manual handling of Farrow & Ball products additional training will be offered where needed.
