I am working with a global brand who are looking for a Technical Service Co-ordinator to come on board. You will be supporting the service centre office team with your extensive technical knowledge to ensure effective and efficient planning and processing of cases to support the wider engineering teams. You will be working closely with the Service Delivery Manager and will also be deputising for them in their absence.
The technical knowledge around current machine systems is imperative here - so experience on the tools could also be beneficial or any current technical service co-ordinators (I want to hear from you!)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the first line of escalation for technical support issues within the Service Co-ordination team.
2. Support the Service Delivery Manager with identification of training and development requirements of Engineers.
3. Close jobs in a manner justifying costs incurred to both external and internal customers (including warranty).
4. Action and quote for any additional repairs highlighted from Engineer reports or machine workshop inspections.
The role is based in Birmingham.
