About Us:
Join our dynamic team at Gloucestershire County Council where we are committed to optimising our workforce and enhancing operational efficiency. We are seeking a skilled Workforce Data Analyst for a 12 month fixed term period to support us in producing high quality management information which is both accurate and innovative to inform the effective delivery of services within People Services and the Authority. This role is career graded with your starting salary being dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report and Interpret Management Information: Provide detailed reports and interpret management information to support operational decision-making and ensure the best use of resources.
* Monitor and Analyse Performance Information: Monitor, analyse, and interpret performance data to identify areas of concern and assist managers in developing effective plans to address these issues.
* Produce Data Returns and Performance Information: Generate accurate data returns and performance reports for HR, individual service areas, and central government.
Experience Required:
* Data Management and Analysis: Proven experience in managing and analysing data to drive business decisions.
* Preparing and Presenting Management Information: Skilled in preparing and presenting management information to various stakeholders.
* Delivering to Challenging Deadlines: Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work within challenging deadlines.
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree or Equivalent Qualification: A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant business or technical area.
* Proficiency in Mathematics and Data Analysis: Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
This position is career graded with additional expectations at Grade 9, including:
* Accountability for Quality: Be accountable for the quality of management information and data analysis within workforce analytics setting.
* Proactive Change Identification: Identify opportunities to make proactive changes in work practices that contribute to HR and continuous business improvement by seeking new solutions and innovative ways to solve problems, and continuously reviewing the effectiveness of implemented changes.
