My client has an immediate opportunity for a Head of Safety & Compliance to join their Property Services Team on a Permanent basis.
The successful applicant will deliver effective leadership, ensuring Health and Safety is managed and maintained across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance of the 'Big 6'. Managing and maintaining environmental standards and accreditations.
2. Provide support to directorship on health and safety, compliance, environmental and management of facilities across the organisation.
3. Provide effective leadership and operational management of the Facilities and Compliance team, including service delivery, recruitment, staff development and performance management.
4. Develop and demonstrate continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environment management systems, produce robust policies, procedures and strategies, embracing legislative changes.
5. Contribute to corporate planning, risk management, internal and external audits and budget setting and management of expenditure.
Requirements:
1. Relevant degree (e.g. Health and Safety NEBOSH diploma) or equivalent level gained through relevant training and/or work experience.
2. Chartered Member of ISOH (CMISO) or willing to work towards.
3. Full valid driving licence.
