Location: Fleet with some flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once probation is passed

About the Role:
The successful candidate will protect the company from fraud by carrying out broker reviews, handling broker panel queries, and monitoring broker quality by reviewing declined and cancelled rates. You will monitor the broker panel and provide recommendations on whether brokers should be removed or reinstated. You will analyze all intelligence received from brokers to protect the business.
Additionally, you will help protect the company from fraud risks by using anti-fraud systems such as Hunter, CIFAS, and SIRA to investigate and act upon information received in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain all information from lenders on Brokers, reporting correctly onto the SIRA system.
* Consider all broker appeals and handle broker panel queries from across the business.
* Develop and maintain cooperative relationships between all internal stakeholders and investigate all referrals professionally.
* Work with fraud systems such as CIFAS, SIRA, and Hunter to mitigate potential losses.
* Investigate all intelligence and act accordingly.
* Carry out Broker reviews, liaising with sales to arrange visits to brokers before removal and preparing management reports for the Credit Committee.
* Report removal decisions professionally to Broker Support, the Broker, FCA, and other Lenders.
* Prepare Management Reports in time for Exco or Credit Committee meetings.
* Analyze broker data to protect the business.
Experience required:
* Current or previous experience in the mortgage industry with a mortgage underwriting background, having held a mandate.
* Proven ability to exercise good commercial and professional judgment.
* Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
* Good attention to detail.
* Adaptable to ongoing change.
* PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
* Enthusiastic, flexible, and eager to learn and develop a career.
* Knowledge of Hunter, CIFAS, and SIRA systems is beneficial but not essential.
