Clinical responsibilities: Be responsible for the assessment of health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner, using their advanced clinical practice skills, and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, prescribe and refer. Be proactive in clinical decision making, underpinned by an advanced level of theoretical and practical knowledge. Be included in the Duty GP rota as required by practice needs and the clinical role. Maintain a high standard of patient focused care in accordance with practices guidelines and policies. Enable the clinical team to work effectively and provide a high quality service to patients and to work effectively with other agencies. Use professional judgement in managing complex and unpredictable care events and capture any learning from these experiences to improve patient care and delivery. Already working as in Band 7 ACP or having achieved the relevant qualifications and with a nursing or paramedic background ,must be a Level 7 Independent Prescriber.
