Accounts Payable / Accounts Assistant | £13.00-£14.50/hr | Bridgewater/Hybrid We are seeking a proactive and driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a leading UK business in their field. This 3-4 month temporary role offers the potential for permanent placement, along with opportunities for professional development and training. The Role: Manage and reconcile the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy. Resolve discrepancies in payment proposals and process urgent invoices. Request missing invoices and manually allocate payments. Review and adjust intercompany balance statements. Assist with bank reconciliations and support the production of financial accounts. You must have Proficient in Sage and experienced with other accounting software. Exceptional customer service and phone support skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently. Experience in Purchase Ledger or a similar finance role.
