Staff Development Nurse - Transition to Practice Program
This is an opportunity for a Permanent Part Time appointment at 72 hours per fortnight.
Position Profile : We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Staff Development Nurse for the CAHS Transition to Practice Program in CAHS Nursing Education at Perth Children’s Hospital. This role provides an exciting opportunity to support the development and transition of new graduate nurses into our health service. In collaboration with the Nurse Coordinator, CAHS Nursing Education, the Staff Development Nurse is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the knowledge and skills of nursing staff at Perth Children’s Hospital; the planning and implementation of specific education and training programs; and the provision of support for nursing staff, including orientation, preceptorship, and core training requirements.
Eligibility to Apply : Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.
