Description
* As a Customer Service advisor, you will be the first point of contact for residents, handling council tax related enquiries.
* You will explain council tax bills, set up payment plans, answer enquiries, and resolve issues faced by residents.
* Providing exceptional customer service while handling sensitive information is essential.
Key responsibilities:
* Handle inbound calls related to Council Services, including Council Tax.
* Assist residents with understanding their council tax bills, payments, and account details.
* Set up and manage direct debits, payment plans, and other payment options.
* Assist with council tax issues such as arrears, disputes, and exemptions.
* Ensure compliance with council policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
* Experience in answering enquiries related to CTAX billing and recovery.
* (Essential) Experience using revenue systems such as NEC Northgate.
* (Essential) Current BPSS certification valid for the duration of the placement.
* (Essential) Be aware that Liverpool City Council's overtime rates are aligned with those of permanent employees.
