You will be responsible for delivering first-class customer service through the operational team. Assisting the Business Manager to help achieve the depot's budgeted profit & loss by supporting the local sales strategies through the delivery of service and effective customer communication. Supporting the continual improvement in recycling and addressing contaminated containers in conjunction with the sales team and National Accounts. Completing performance reviews, PDR’s and TLA’s, and providing feedback in line with company policy. Providing support to internal & external audits including fleet audits. Ensure that all health, safety and environmental regulations and policies are adhered to. Working in partnership with the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental team to ensure that QHS remains the number one priority. Ensure that drivers daily debrief process is adhered to, and all safety concerns and near misses are logged on AVA and closed off within the company’s agreed timescales. What we're looking for; Previous management experience with knowledge of transport and logistics. CPC in National Road Haulage. IOSH Certificate. A strong leader with excellent communications skills.
