We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Braintree, Essex. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Working Hours:
You will be in a team that is responsible for delivering 24/7 care for the individual. You will be required to work a mix of 12 hour days and Waking Nights for a minimum of 3 shifts per week. Due to the location & nature of the role we are looking for a driver who has access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
* Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
* Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work the specified hours.
* Driver with access to own vehicle.
