Male Support Worker ONLY & hold a UK Driving License
We are looking for diligent Support Worker to join our team on a full time basis to be flexible on shifts on a rolling rota basis.

About the Role:
We are looking for assertive, firm, and reliable Support Workers to join our team based in West Lothian, for a specific service joining us in October!
Our service user will be living in a purpose built complex and will require 1 to 1 support at all times and 2 to 1 support when out in the community. He has a learning disability and is nonverbal; the use of Makaton would be an advantage for this role.
The successful Support Workers will support in household tasks and maintenance of the house, as well as preparing and serving nutritious meals. Our service user will complete all personal care and will dress himself, but will need support with medication.

About Them:
Our service user has profound learning disabilities and is nonverbal. He can show signs of frustration when agitated, so the positive care plan must be followed. All training will be provided. He also has epilepsy.
Our service user likes to go out multiple times a day in his car, so a UK driving license is essential for this role.

Management of behaviour which challenges in accordance with proactive and reactive strategies is required.
