This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-standing family run business with a strong position within the poultry and horticultural sectors. This role will suit an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Manager. This role will be based in Armagh and will report directly to the Managing Director.

Your new role
As Finance Manager you will have a broad range of responsibilities including full management of finance function. You will also be responsible for
1. Preparing and presenting regular management accounts and ad hoc financial reports on request
2. Manage accounts payable incl the payment of invoices and expenses
3. Oversee cash flow management and treasury management and planning review of customer credit ratings
4. Prepare andplete a range of statutory submissions and ensure that they are submitted on time
5. Actively challenge project costing information (past, present and forecast) to ensure its robustness and integrity is plausible
6. Update and maintain product costings
7. Maintain records, files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
8. Assist in month-end-closing
9. Manage quarterly stock-takes
10. Main point of contact for external audit and legal services
11. Take an active role in continuous improvement of processes and technology through identification of areas of opportunity.
12. Business partnering with various internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
13. Fully Qualified / Part Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CAI) or qualified by experience.
14. Knowledge of Advanced Exchequer accounts software would be desirable
15. Willingness to use own initiative to solve problems
16. A proven ability to rmend, implement, improve and change processes as required to increase efficiency of the accounting function
17. Must have a strong work ethic, and be well organised
18. Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable and accurate
19. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change
20. Good skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams and Word
21. Knowledge of job costing and project accounting would be desirable.
