About the Engineer role
* Managing and reporting all engineering requirements as per company policies and processes.
* Coordinating across multiple aspects of the development process.
* Working alongside the technical teams based in-house.
* Actively managing communications and operational interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, consultants, and support site teams.
* Ensuring that all necessary utility/services/supplier enquiries, quotations, acceptances, and approvals are obtained.
Requirements of the Engineer
* Hold a Civil Engineering degree or equivalent working experience.
* Experience within the role of an Engineer, with a consultancy background or a housebuilder with in-house design.
* Ideally MICE chartered or Incorporated, but studies can be fully supported toward this.
* Experience in creating detailed designs of infrastructure, foundations, highways, drainage, and external work in housing developments.
* Strong IT skills including knowledge of packages such as Microsoft, AutoCAD, PDS, and FLOW (or similar).
