We are looking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Animal Warden to work within a specialist professional team of officers involved in discharging the Council’s statutory duties and commitments in relation to stray dogs, dangerous dogs, barking dogs, animal welfare and the licensing of prescribed activities involving animals, resolving issues by offering a range of options from advice to carrying out enforcement action.
The applicant must have extensive practical working experience of working with animals, especially dogs and must possess a good knowledge of animal welfare legislation.
