We’re looking for a Head of Marketing Planning to join Co-op’s Membership & Customer team. In this new role, it’ll be your job to lead and shape marketing planning across the whole of our Co-op, following the re-introduction of Co-op to the nation through a bold new campaign. You’ll direct our pan Co-op integrated business planning process, focusing on workflow, capacity, and prioritisation, enabling our marketing teams to achieve the best results and grow our membership and businesses. You’ll collaborate with various teams and partners, giving you an opportunity to make a visible impact at our Co-op. What you’ll do Act as a key part of our Membership & Customer leadership team, taking responsibility for our pan-Co-op marketing planning Oversee capacity and workflow planning across marketing teams, addressing blockers and increasing productivity Proactively assess how changes in the business will affect planning, resource, and commercials Work alongside the wider leadership team to establish key frameworks and principles Be a subject matter expert in meetings and planning forums with key stakeholders This role would suit people who have Experience in a complex matrix organisation, with an understanding of the retail business A strong understanding of marketing, with a commercial or analytical background A collaborative approach, with the ability to influence others Tenacity and confidence to speak out when necessary Great communication skills, simplifying complex information Why Co-op?
