Job Overview Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Assistant will support the Finance team in day-to-day processing and accounting administration Responsibilities Assisting the Financial Controller in managing all?day to day?accounting operations - such as Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Asset Register and Revenue Recognition.? Assist with preparing and publishing all monthly financial statements.? Creating reports (annual and monthly) for analysis by the Financial Controller to identify results, trends and forecasts.? Ensuring all transactions are recorded, filed and reported properly.? Ensuring reporting meets compliant standards with statutory law and financial regulations.? Documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.? Supporting the Financial Controller with the audit process and liaising with external personnel?where?required.? Processing expense claims Carry out out any other reasonable requests in line with the broad responsibilities of the role. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant (Approx 3-5 years) AAT accreditation desirable. Bachelors Degree in Mathematics/Accounting or similar. Excellent working knowledge of Excel. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to maintaina high level of accuracy while meeting strict deadlines.
