We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Gloucestershire Police HQ, to provide a full range of maintenance and repair activities across the site.
Tascor Services are a Capita organisation who provide a full range of Facilities Management services to the Police, NHS and Fire Emergency services.
This role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week with 1 Week in 5 on call - on-call is 7 days with on-call allowance paid and vehicle provided for On-Call work.

Job Description:
What you'll be doing:
* Complete the full range of maintenance and repair activities across the site.
* Escalate any equipment issues and ensure they are resolved in a time-efficient manner.
* Compile Risk Assessments & Method Statements for maintenance activities.
* Compile and maintain all maintenance and repair documentation, including equipment service history documentation and unit defect log.
* Conduct first- and second-line electrical/mechanical maintenance as required.
* Plan and manage shutdown maintenance activities.
What we're looking for:
* Strong mechanical engineering experience would be beneficial.
* Willing to work towards Electrical Low Voltage Authorised Person (LV AP) accreditation if not already held.
* Competent in maintaining safe working environments especially in non-office environment facilities with diverse day to day operational hazards and risk to life.
* Effective trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong technical knowledge (mechanical/electrical) as relevant to the role.
* Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experienced with Risk Assessments, Diagnostics & Fault Finding.
Please note - due to the nature of this role and the security vetting level required candidates are required to have been living in the UK as a resident for the last 3 years.
