We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
* Deliver patient care with empathy and respect, catering to the individual needs of each person.
* Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to health guidelines.
* Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
* Provide support in behaviour management, helping individuals cope with challenging situations.
* Engage in childcare or senior care activities, fostering a nurturing environment.
* Perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans.
Skills
* Strong background in patient care, with experience in nursing homes or similar environments preferred.
* Proficient in medication administration and understanding of relevant health regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for effective communication with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
* Competence in meal preparation that meets dietary requirements.
* Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist individuals with mobility challenges.
* A caring attitude towards providing support that promotes dignity and respect for all individuals.

Pay: £14.50-£15.50 per hour
