Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, offering mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams efficiently.
We are looking for an Electrical Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team working on our mobile contract servicing commercial buildings throughout zones 1 and 2 of London.
All tools and materials are provided on site.
You’ll
* Conduct PPM and planned maintenance, response, and fault analysis.
* Carry out fault finding and plant adjustments, check and inspect electrical/mechanical services, plant, and systems, and complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specifications.
* Perform general duties requiring multi-skilled discipline, including but not limited to re-lamping luminaires, fault finding in electrical wiring systems, motors, generators, lighting systems, chillers, AHUs, cleaning foul water systems, drains, inspections, and repairs of all M&E systems such as extract and supply air ductwork systems, plumbing, and heating systems.
* When required, conduct reactive and Extra Work requirements in adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with HASAWA legislation and Our Way of Working.
* Implement & comply with the procedures as detailed in the company’s Health & Safety Policies, Statutory obligations, and in accordance with the Skanska IFE (Injury Free Environment).
* Ensure daily worksheets and maintenance & inspection records are completed and submitted on a timely basis.
* Be expected to be part of the out-of-hours rota.
* Become AP for your site or sites if required.
Minimum Requirements
* Electrical City & Guilds, Part 1 and 2 or ‘A’ and ‘B’ or equivalent, BMS experience, and multi-skilling capability.
* Health & Safety IOSH Working Safely qualification or similar.
* Ability to demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills with good verbal and written communication.
