What you will be doing:
* Manage and oversee the build processes of the race car, from initial assembly to final checks.
* Lead a team of technicians and engineers to ensure that all builds meet quality standards and performance specifications.
* Collaborate with design, engineering, and aerodynamic teams to ensure seamless integration of components and systems.
* Develop and implement efficient build strategies and processes, optimizing time and resource management.
* Conduct regular inspections and reviews of the build progress and report on potential issues or delays.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance build efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Build Manager or similar role in a motorsport or high-performance engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of vehicle assembly processes and techniques.
* Experience in managing teams and leading projects to tight deadlines.
* Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
* Hands-on approach to problem-solving with a focus on quality and precision.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a workshop or manufacturing environment.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
* A passion for motorsport and a keen understanding of the Formula One™ environment is a key advantage.
