Responsible for overseeing the entire production planning process within a contract manufacturing environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products by coordinating with clients on their specific needs, managing production schedules, and maintaining quality control standards while adhering to contractual agreements. Responsible for managing stock across multiple sites Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities Collaborating with clients to understand their product requirements, specifications, and delivery timelines. Developing detailed production plans based on client orders and available resources. Optimising production schedules to maximise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines. Monitoring production progress and making adjustments as needed. Forecasting raw material needs and ensuring sufficient inventory levels. Managing raw material procurement and quality control. Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process. Identifying and addressing quality issues promptly. Ensuring products meet all required quality standards and client specifications. Managing stock levels on all sites and ensuring compliance with financial requirements. Managing and planning stock takes and perpetual counts Working with Procurement to ensure cost optimisation and order scheduling Leading Sales and Operational Planning meetings. Generating regular reports on production metrics, including on-time delivery, quality levels, and cost performance. Identifying trends and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
