Marketing and Recruitment As a member of the Academic School Marketing and Recruitment team, the Marketing & Recruitment Coordinator will support marketing and event activities across the Directorate and Academic Schools. They will provide marketing, conversion and administrative support for both home and overseas postgraduate and undergraduate student recruitment. The role holder will support a wide range of events and marketing with responsibility for delivering various activities in person and online, collating and devising digital and written content to meet overarching priorities. A proactive member of the team, the role holder will work in close collaboration with the other Academic Schools as well as colleagues in the wider Future Student directorate and across the University. Involvement in Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Academic School Marketing & Recruitment Lead, support the delivery of the Academic School annual plan to maximise home and international student recruitment. Ensure the Academic School continues to positively enhance their recruitment targets, profile and reputation in line with university processes, policies and ambition, and that the local activity draws on resources in the Directorate and other professional services teams. As directed, collate data and information from a range of sources in support of marketing activities in order to both support and inform the Academic School’s marketing and recruitment plan. Provide creative and timely subject focused written content for digital and print marketing to ensure consistency and promote the Academic School’s students, programmes, external offer and values. Facilitate and support the creation of digital assets (e.g. assisting with photoshoots, videography, podcasts) working closely with PSD teams, particularly those in web and content. What you will bring to the role: GCSE Maths & English (grace C/4 or above) or equivalent Some prior knowledge and understanding of marketing and recruitment, ideally gained in the Higher Education sector Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills including a helpful and responsive manner with the ability to remain calm when under pressure Demonstratable experience of working in a busy, multi-faced role, including events experience What we can offer in return: As a member of our team, you can expect a friendly, open and collaborative working environment and support in your development and wellbeing.
