We have a great opportunity to join our team at an extremely exciting time for the business. The business has recently moved into new UK headquarters in Burton on Trent, and we are currently standardising our finance processes and implementing a new ERP system.
The Leisure Segment is approximately £70m turnover and includes Pubs, Holiday Parks and Motorway Service Stations. This is a growing part of the business which is currently changing rapidly as we look to implement cashless solutions. As Finance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that revenue is accurately reported and for partnering with the business to support future cashless initiatives, working closely with the commercial ream to ensuring that customer agreements are aligned to internal processes.
Responsible for ensuring Leisure revenue is accurately recorded and relevant reconciliations are completed
Leading a team of 3, supporting them through their studies and ensuring development opportunities are in place
Work with the commercial team to understand current state and future plans for cashless services, ensuring agreements with customers are financially viable and operationally possible
Manage day to day delivery of the team ensuring reporting, invoicing and postings are completed in line with deadlines
Review end to end processes ensuring correct controls are in place and identifying opportunities for creating efficiencies, building relationships with customers to understand their requirements
Complete balance sheet and cash reconciliations
Ensure SOX and audit controls are followed, and relevant audit documentation is required as needed
Support the wider finance team on ad-hoc tasks as required
Good knowledge of Excel and experience of working with an ERP system (Dynamics 365 beneficial)
Experience of working with a retail/ecommerce environment beneficial
Good understanding of accounts and finance processes
Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
