Job summary We are looking to recruit a dynamic band 7 Cardiac Physiologist specialist in Cardiac Rhythm Device Management. You will be joining a small dedicated team working cross site to provide Device follow-up clinics and will work in our Catheter lab based at Epsom hospital supporting simple, complex and LBBB area pacing and ILR implants. The trust currently has a total of nine permanent Cardiologists, four specialist in Cardiac rhythm management, heart failure and devices. The catheter lab implants over 300 simple and complex devices per year and there is a joint physiologist and nurse led outpatient ILR implant service. Candidates should have completed a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent) and hold a relevant specialist qualification in Cardiac Rhythm Management such as IBHRE, EHRA or BHRS. Main duties of the job At band 7 level you will have extensive experience as Senior Cardiac Physiologist. You will be confident working independently in device clinics and the lab and be looking to advance your clinical and leadership skills. You will be active in the training and development of junior staff to achieve non-invasive and Devices accreditation. You will also be keen to develop your own skills in complex procedures such ICD's, CRT and LBBap. Further training will be offered where required.
