Are you looking for a change? Here at the InpatientWardswe are looking for admin support to join our team of Nurses,Drsand therapists.
We have twoinpatientswards, caring for adults with a wide variety of conditions. Our patient cohort is referred from both acute and community setting. As the admin support for the wards, you are likely to be the first contact people have with the service – be that on the telephone or face to face as members of the public and patients arrive on the unit.
Behind the scenes, you will have a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the ward. This will include liaison with other departments, both within and outside BHFT to ensure a seamless journey for our patients. You will also play a key role in arranging staff meetings, with a responsibility for managing agendas and minutes.
The unit is based in Wokingham close to shops and public transport for easy commuting, and Wokingham Community Hospital staff are eligible for ‘fringe London weighting’ under agenda for change, which equates to anadditional5% of your basic NHS salary, and free staff parking on ourHospitalsite.
• Work closely as part of theMulti DisciplinaryTeam for the delivery of care to our patients.
• Responsible for theclerical support of the whole team.
• Be based on the inpatient wards face to face with staff and relatives of the patients
