Main duties of the job The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking, be a caring, compassionate, and committed nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient chronic disease management such as diabetes, coronary heart disease annual health checks, health promotion as well as cytology, childhood immunisation, travel vaccines, health checks and dressings. They will demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision-making and expert care, including health promotion for patients. The post holder will be supported to become a nurse prescriber. About us We have Investors in People Silver Award and are committed to developing our team to provide quality care to our 10,000 patients. We are a training practice and teach GP Registrars. We are a member of Greater Middlesbrough PCN and work closely with our other 7 member practices. Our Primary Care multidisciplinary team currently consists of 4 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, 2 practice nurses, 2 health care assistants, clinical pharmacist, and pharmacy technician. We also have allocated ARRS roles via our PCN which included FCP, Dietician, social prescribers, mental health work, among others.
