The Role As a Technical Production Coordinator, you will: Work closely with event teams and clients to understand and deliver technical requirements for a wide range of events. Collaborate on major in-house programmes, including festivals and large-scale outdoor events. Produce and review technical drawings and AutoCAD plans for events across various spaces. Manage production equipment and resources, ensuring they are properly maintained and safely deployed. Lead on the setup of small audio systems and provide expert technical guidance to stakeholders. This role also involves occasional supervision of casual staff and coordination with external contractors, requiring strong leadership and communication skills. Key Skills & Experience Essential: Proven experience in a technical role within a multi-purpose venue or live music environment. Comprehensive understanding of live event technologies, including rigging and production processes. Strong AutoCAD skills. Excellent organizational abilities and the capability to manage multiple stakeholders. Desirable: Qualifications or experience with Vectorworks, IPAF, or rigging. Familiarity with light desk operations, sound engineering, and special effects safety. Experience overseeing casual or agency teams in an event production environment.
