HCB Widdows Mason is looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Practice Manager to lead and manage our law firm's operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, enhancing service delivery, and supporting our legal teams in providing exceptional client service.
The key responsibilities of the Legal Practice Manager include:
* Overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the firm, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
* Implementing and maintaining effective operational processes and procedures.
* Managing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Engaging with and supporting the leadership team in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
* Supervising and mentoring administrative and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Coordinating training and professional development for staff members.
* Handling client complaints and managing risk and compliance issues.
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a legal practice management role, preferably in a law firm setting.
* Strong understanding of legal operations, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial management.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
