This role involves working as a Functional Assessor, conducting assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life and producing factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions to understand their impact on daily life
* Produce detailed, factual reports to support the DWP's decision-making process
* Work with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions
* Utilize computer software to type and produce reports
Requirements
* Registration with the HCPC as a physiotherapist
* At least 1 year's post-registration experience in the UK
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work comfortably with computer software
