SaaS COMMERCIAL/SALES EXECUTIVE Nettl Systems Ltd, Birmingham WHO WE ARE Nettl Systems Ltd is a business comprising 3 divisions. We run several ecommerce brands which sell marketing, printing and exhibition services to trade buyers. We own and operate 4 retail marketing studios where our inhouse teams sell design, print, websites, SEO, PPC & social media campaigns to local businesses, and we operate a large network of SaaS subscribers and Co-brand partner businesses' who licence parts of our software, our systems, our marketing and support teams to help them operate and grow their core businesses. This network of over 300 creative-led graphics businesses also purchase the products and services which are integrated into our SaaS platform. WHAT YOU’LL DO The SaaS subscriber and Licenced partner network is where we’re looking to grow. As Commercial Sales Executive your focus will be on prospecting, educating and converting target businesses (in the creative industry) into Nettl System SaaS subscribers or Nettl Brand Partners. You’ll start by deploying our commercial strategy to achieve these goals whilst developing the tactics and contributing to strategy. This role is a full-time. You’ll have a primary base at the Nettl studio in Birmingham, but you might mostly work remotely, WFH, travel around or even pull up a chair at one of our other locations. We've Nettl locations all around the world, so if you're good at this role, you'll get the option to travel to showcase your skills in other countries too. If you’d like to. Through training, development and cross-departmental collaboration, you will build a thorough understanding of the Nettl Systems software and business model so that you can profile with success the businesses who will prosper as a Nettl network partner and the aspects of our offering most pertinent to them. You will have the opportunity to work with our Commercial Director, Marketing Manager, product development and customer success teams to consistently improve commercial and product development strategies. Progression opportunities from this role exist in the fields of Senior Commercial Sales, Sales Management and Development across our retail and partner departments, as well as unlimited opportunities to develop into commercial strategy, business performance, operations, marketing, product development and creative fields. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Prospecting & Lead Generation Engage with warm leads generated through our marketing and data-driven prospecting processes, converting them into sales opportunities. Identify and target potential business clients to expand the customer base. Consultative Sales & Client Education Tailor presentations and approach to highlight how our offering can solve specific business challenges within each prospect’s business. Nurture potential clients through the decision-making process, ensuring they fully understand the value of our product. Convert prospects into long-term Nettl partners, ensuring a good fit between their needs and our solutions. Revenue Growth & Retention Drive recurring revenue by increasing new partner acquisition and upselling additional services to existing partners. Identify and act on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise revenue from existing partners. Reporting & Performance Tracking Use CRM systems to track sales activities, performance metrics, and client engagement. Regularly report on key performance indicators, including new partner acquisition, recurring revenue growth, and retention rates. Collaboration & Strategy Development Work closely with the Commercial Director, marketing, product development, and customer success teams to optimise sales strategies and product offering. Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and tools, ensuring a competitive edge in the market. Networking & Relationship Building Build and nurture a network of lasting relationships within target market industries to grow the Nettl share of voice. Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and attract new partners. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE You’ll have experience in SaaS roles, building business networks, and solid understanding of franchising or other scaling strategies. Demonstrable experience in: Sales Strategy SaaS Sales Key Performance Indicators Prospecting and lead generation Nurturing potential clients through a SaaS education process Networking and building of consultative relationships Remuneration Basic salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience (DOE) Commission: Earn uncapped commission based on acquiring new subscribers and achieving performance targets.
