Art & Design Teacher - Full Time (April 2025)
The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Art & Design Teacher to join their dynamic and creative department on a full-time basis, starting in April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to inspire and nurture students at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, fostering a love for the arts and encouraging their creative development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, ensuring all students are supported in their artistic journey.
2. Plan and execute engaging lessons that encourage creativity, experimentation, and critical thinking.
3. Assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
4. Support students in preparing portfolios and coursework for GCSE and A-Level Art & Design qualifications.
5. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and exhibitions.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Holds a recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and has experience teaching Art & Design at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
2. A passionate, creative, and innovative teacher with a strong understanding of the national curriculum and art exam specifications.
3. Able to inspire and motivate students of all abilities, fostering a nurturing and supportive classroom environment.
4. A collaborative team player who is keen to contribute to the development of the Art & Design department.
