We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to provide clinical leadership for the musculoskeletal and orthopaedic therapy services.

In return the successful candidate will be part of a supportive clinical leadership team, receive regular supervision and have opportunities to develop further as a leader. The ability to work in partnership with GPs, Consultants, and Commissioners, referring hospitals, community rehabilitation services and voluntary agencies is essential. The post-holder will also be expected to undertake a small number of MSK/Orthopaedic clinical sessions.
Main duties of the job
* To provide clinical expertise, leadership and manage performance in relevant service area according to KPIs and quality standards.
* To manage a delegated budget of over £2,000,000.
* To deliver services in order to meet the Trust objectives.
* To manage a specialist caseload of clients, using evidence-based and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
* To lead on the planning, implementation, development and evaluation of Services in MSK & Orthopaedics.
* To line manage the Deputy Service Manager.
* To contribute to the development of integrated rehabilitation pathways for relevant services across Primary, Intermediate and Secondary Care and the third sector.
* To ensure that regular supervision and appraisal of staff within the team is undertaken.
* To provide interventions in locations across the health community covered by The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust as required.

* Diploma/Degree in relevant profession (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, SALT).
* Current HCPC Registration.
* Current full driving licence.
* Post-graduate qualifications relevant to MSK & Orthopaedic speciality to Masters level or equivalent.
* Management/leadership qualification or equivalent.

* Membership of Professional body.
* Completed recognised IT course e.g. ECDL/Elite/MOST.
