Reporting into our Head of HR Business Partnering, our HR Advisor will provide an effective and colleague-focused HR service to the firm, acting as the first point of contact for guidance on policy and procedure queries, and supporting the People and Culture team in the delivery of HR operations and initiatives that align to the people and firm strategy. This role is critical to ensuring a great colleague experience, through the application of best practice. Working in partnership with the wider HR team – collaborating in particular with the Senior HR Business Partners and the HR Assistants - to provide advice, guidance and best practice to line managers on people policies, procedures / processes and supporting them to manage employee relations effectively, resolving informally where possible and minimising risk. You will have a great eye for detail and be able to pull together some data and metrics to assist in sound decision making. Experience of working in a law practice isn’t essential; it’s more important that you are confident in your approach, with a good working knowledge of employment law and best practice and are focused on creating a truly people-centric culture. Our core hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. However, if you’d like to talk to us about a different working pattern, we would welcome a conversation with you.
