Job Description
Hays Health & Safety is excited to be working exclusively with a Defence Service Contractor who are looking for a HSEQ expert to join their Bid Solutions team and support their work-winning team. This is a home-based position with travel required to attend meetings taking place in various sites, mostly York, Birmingham and London. You will work alongside Bid Managers, Writers and Operational Subject-Matter Experts to develop HSE solutions in line with client specifications, contributing to the growth of the facilities business.
Your new role
* Develop innovative HSEQ solutions aligned to customer needs and implement them within bid responses and customer presentations.
* Support the team in the expansion of HSEQ knowledge in the bid solution process.
* Actively participate in bid meetings and workshops.
* Write high-quality bid responses that consistently meet deadlines.
* Work well with the wider HSEQ teams across the facilities and business to develop a detailed understanding of best practice.
What you will need
* NEBOSH Diploma, Degree or equivalent in Health & Safety.
* IOSH Membership.
* Experience of producing high-quality bid responses, reports and presentations.
* The ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Willingness to travel to sites across the UK where required.
